Uplink chips are essential to the completion of repair objectives throughout the Marathon series. Quite often, you must find a chip and take it to an uplink location, in order to do things like allow Durandal to access the Pfhor computer systems or insert a virus into the drones protecting the Pfhor temple. Durandal has you install two of them in Pfhor terminals in Waterloo Waterpark.
