Battle Group Seven , also known as the Western Arm, is the name given to a fleet of ships belonging to the Pfhor. The fleet is led by the oldest serving admiral in the Pfhor Navy, High Admiral Tfear.

The fleet consists of seven Corvettes, four Destroyers, an Assault Carrier and the Battleship Khfiva.

History[]

During Marathon 2: Durandal, the fleet is sent to Lh'owon in order to reinforce their garrison as well as defeat and capture Durandal.[1] Durandal expresses his fears of defeat when he recognizes the flagship Khfiva led by Tfear.[2]

In the subsequent engagement between Battle Group Seven and Boomer, Durandal succeeds in decimating half of the fleet. However, the Boomer takes heavy damage and is forced to make an emergency landing on Lh'owon's second moon, Y'loa.[3] Although Battle Group Seven won the battle, Durandal states that the losses suffered by the fleet would force the Pfhor Naval Academy to update its curriculum.[4]

Drop ships from Battle Group Seven attempt to board and wrest control of the Boomer away from Durandal.[5]

The arrival of the S'pht'Kr is able to turn the tables against Battle Group Seven. In the ensuing battle, Durnadal is able to subvert the battleship Khfiva and triumph over Tycho by destroying his ship. To add insult to injury he burns an epitaph on one of Lh'owons inner moons where Tycho's ship crashed which reads "Fatum Iustum Stultorum."[6]

With Battle Group Seven obliterated and remaining Pfhor forces destroyed by the Security Officer on Lh'owon, Durandal rechristens the Khfiva as Rozinante. Although the Sph't name it K'liah'Narhl or "Vengeance of K'lia."[7]
